The thing about Ellen is, she doesn’t give a shit. She doesn’t care about your story. She doesn’t care about your fears. She doesn’t care about whatever you have been telling yourself for the past twenty years about why you have this or why you do that. The only thing she cares about is getting you to the point where you go, “OH. Now I see what’s been getting in my way.” And because that’s the only thing that matters to her, she has this amazing ability to cut through all my bullshit, make me see whatever it is that’s getting in my way, and then heal it…in an instant. And the crazy thing is that she does it in the most gentle, compassionate, sweet way, so I feel totally safe and protected.

Soma means “of the body.” I am a somatic educator active in the fields of psychology, anatomy, bodywork, sexology, and scar remediation. One of my missions is to teach people about their own anatomy as a road to self-empowerment. I witness that many bodies innately know how to heal on their own.
